Domestic Couple job in Sologne, France

We are looking for a qualified Domestic Couple for a hunting estate located in the Sologne region (south of Orléans - 45), responsible for managing the interior and exterior upkeep of the property.

Position available immediately – Permanent contract (CDI), 39 hours/week, with independent accommodation provided.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and upkeep of the apartments and outbuildings.
• Preparing bedrooms ahead of guests' arrivals.
• Linen management (washing, ironing, storing) and dry-cleaning drop-off.
• Stock and inventory management.
• Meal preparation on request.
• Food shopping and other supply runs.
• Garden maintenance around the château (mowing, pruning, weeding, watering, etc.).
• Maintenance of the kitchen garden, terraces and outdoor furniture.
• Swimming pool maintenance.
• Ensuring proper upkeep of equipment (fountain, etc.).
• Driving on request
• Maintenance of 5 vehicles (washing, service record monitoring, etc.).
• Reporting to the Estate Manager (caretaker – male).
• Reporting to the Estate Butler (caretaker – female).
• General site security.
• Care of 2 dogs when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar professional environment.
• Autonomous, versatile and well‑organised.
• Enjoys working in a rural environment.
• Strong sense of service.Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility required.
• Absolute discretion and confidentiality towards the employer.
• Comfortable with pets.
• French‑speaking.
• Driving licence required.
