Documentation PBOM Leader

• Transform project requirements and Division of Responsibility into Model List Items for max-case documentation needs through the Customer Drawing Handbook.
• Maintain digitized master records of documentation required per MLI and collaborate with MLI owners to optimize documentation processing and material cost.
• Govern documentation Marketing Features and support ITO teams with document-requirement quoting.
• Establish routines and tools for document due dates and integrate them into Primavera P6 schedules and Supplier Technical Collaboration target dates.
• Maintain documentation master data through NPI, non-conformance resolution, cost-out, Pivot to Value, and design changes.
• Establish process KPIs, value alignment, and daily management practices.
• Author or facilitate technical documentation requirements for suppliers.
• Own GT/GEN/ST technical documentation management across GE Gas Power, harmonizing processes and driving continuous improvement and Lean activities.
• Provide problem-solving support, technical consultation, guidance, direction, and training to cross-functional teams.
• Define and lead Kaizen events, conduct Gemba, develop Standard Work, and maintain quality documents, procedures, and work instructions.
• Define IT tool development and enhancement requirements and support implementation.
• Own transition plans for Supplier Design Exchange migration to Supplier Technical Collaboration as Project Tool Suite sunsets.
• Support Teamcenter PLM process review, technical specifications, use cases, testing, validation, and engineering training.
• Support harmonized document-management rollout for Services, Aeroderivative, and BOP products.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Computer Science.
• French equivalent: BAC+5 in engineering, physics, chemistry, mathematics, or computer science, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• 5 years’ experience in engineering design and definition of power plant equipment (accessory systems).
• Experience in process use and development regarding documentation requirements, compliance requirements, and quality management system definition for Gas Power products and services.
• Experience implementing new processes and leading development, debate, training, and rollout.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Gas Power Engineering tools: PLM, DCTM, PTS, PowerMax (SAP ERP), Alpha ERP (Oracle ERP).
• Sound understanding of PLM–STC concepts and objects, Supplier Deliverables, Supplier Deliverable Templates, Technical Definition Packages, and STC folders.
• CMPIC or CMII certification desired.
• ISO 9001:2015 familiarity desired.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification desired.
• Strong organizational, conflict resolution, facilitation, problem-solving, leadership, presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Ability to understand complex processes and eliminate non-value-added routines.
