About Zadient

Founded in 2020, Zadient is an innovator in advanced semiconductor materials, driving the global energy transition through next-generation Silicon Carbide (SiC) technology. Operating across France (R&D / HQ) and Germany (CVD production), we combine high-tech ambition with an international start‑up culture that values autonomy, discipline, and execution.

The Mission

Directly supporting a CEO-level priority , you will build the foundation of Zadient’s Knowledge Management strategy from day one. You won't write scientific papers—instead, you will structure, centralize, secure, and govern all technical documentation, giving our scientists and engineers the systems they need to collaborate and scale.

Key Responsibilities & Initial Deliverables (3–6 Month Roadmap)

  • Audit & Inventory: Map all technical documentation across R&D, process engineering, facilities, and external suppliers to identify risks (e.g., info on personal drives).

  • Knowledge Capture: Extract tacit engineering know-how, facilitate post-experiment lessons learned, and create standardized templates for scientists.

  • Governance & Architecture: Design document taxonomies, metadata standards, access control (IAM), retention policies, and lifecycle management.

  • Compliance & Audit Readiness: Ensure documentation meets standards for ISO, HAZOP, ICPE, and ATEX certifications.

  • Platform & Tool Management: Partner with IT as functional owner of document platforms (SharePoint, PLM, DMS, Wikis) and help pave the way for AI-assisted knowledge retrieval.

Candidate Profile

Essential

  • Education: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Engineering, Information/Data Management, or related field.

  • Experience: 3–8 years in technical documentation, knowledge management, technical writing, or engineering support in industrial settings.

  • Mindset: Able to establish structure without creating friction; comfortable working with R&D profiles to understand their documentation needs.

  • Languages: Bilingual English & French (mandatory). German is a plus.2

Nice-to-Have

  • Hands‑on experience with SharePoint Online, M365, PLM, DMS, or Confluence.

  • Background in semiconductors, SiC, or advanced manufacturing environments.

  • Exposure to enterprise search or AI-enabled knowledge retrieval tools.

What We Offer

  • High Impact: Shape a key company function with direct access to executive leadership.

  • Meaningful Purpose: Contribute directly to advanced technologies supporting the green transition.

  • Flexibility & Autonomy: Competitive salary, entrepreneurial environment, and partial remote options.
