Job Summary
We are seeking a Document Controller to support the delivery of large‑scale hyperscale Data Centre projects (50MW+) .
You will be responsible for managing and maintaining all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with project processes. Working closely with project teams, contractors, and clients, you will play a key role in enabling efficient information flow and digital project delivery .
Responsibilities
1. Document Control & Management
- Manage and maintain all project documentation in line with project protocols and standards
- Ensure all documents are correctly logged, distributed, and tracked through document management systems
- Maintain version control and ensure the latest revisions are available to all stakeholders
- Control the flow of drawings, specifications, reports, and technical submissions
2. System & Process Management
- Administer and manage Common Data Environments (CDE) such as Aconex, BIM 360, or similar platforms
- Ensure adherence to document control procedures, naming conventions, and workflows
- Support implementation of digital processes and automated workflows
- Monitor document status, approvals, and turnaround times
3. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all documentation complies with project standards, client requirements, and governance frameworks
- Conduct regular audits of document control processes and records
- Maintain accurate logs of transmittals, RFIs, and approvals
- Support quality assurance processes through accurate record‑keeping
4. Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure timely submission and distribution of documents
- Provide support and guidance to project teams on document control processes
- Ensure clear communication and coordination across all stakeholders
5. Reporting & Data Support
- Generate reports on document status, workflows, and outstanding approvalsSupport project reporting through accurate and structured data management
- Assist in integrating document control systems with broader project data and reporting tools
6. Digital Integration & Continuous Improvement
- Support integration of document control processes with BIM and digital project delivery systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement of document management practices
- Promote best practices in digital information management across projects
Our Ideal Candidate
You are a detail‑oriented professional with strong organisational skills and experience managing documentation in complex construction environments.
You understand the importance of structured data and digital systems and are keen to be part of a forward‑thinking team driving innovation in project delivery.
Experience Required
- 3–8 years’ experience in document control within construction or engineering projects
- Experience on Data Centre / Mission Critical projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of document management systems (e.g. Aconex, BIM 360, SharePoint)
- Understanding of construction documentation and workflows
- Experience working in fast‑paced project environments
