As a Dispensary Manager, you’ll oversee store operations, financial performance, and team development while bringing FINO’s mission, vision, and values to life on the sales floor.

You’ll be responsible for profitability, operational excellence, and adapting to business trends, all while cultivating a positive, high-performing workplace culture. From hiring and coaching top talent to educating patients and inspiring your team to exceed goals, this role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment and truly enjoys working with people.

As a key leader in the organization, the Dispensary Manager serves as a brand ambassador for FINO Cannabis, ensuring every patient interaction is welcoming, knowledgeable, and compliant.

This role directly supervises the Assistant Dispensary Manager, Wellness Lead, and Wellness Associates.

  • Oversee all day-to-day dispensary operations, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and patient-focused experience
  • Address and resolve patient concerns that require leadership-level support
  • Manage inventory levels, place product orders, and ensure displays are current, organized, and visually appealing
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional retail environment at all times
  • Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed accurately and consistently
  • Manage cash handling, reconciliation, and POS discrepancies
  • Operate the POS system as needed during shifts
  • Communicate patient, personnel, or operational concerns to the VP/Director of Retail and Marketing
  • Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts
  • Coach, mentor, and delegate tasks to the Assistant Dispensary Manager
  • Rotate weekend shifts with the Assistant Dispensary Manager
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of FINO products and industry trends
  • Lead by example in sales, customer service, and compliance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Skills & Performance Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of patient management systems, including SWEED and OMMU
  • Clear, professional, and compassionate communication skills with both patients and team members
  • Solid understanding of Florida medical cannabis laws, product effects, and qualifying conditions
  • Highly organized, patient, and detail‑oriented
  • Self‑motivated, goal‑driven, and career‑focused
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high‑pressure situations
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
  • Comfortable multitasking in a fast‑paced retail environment
  • Proficient with standard office equipment (printer, scanner, fax, computer)
  • Warm, friendly, and approachable leadership style

Education & Experience

  • College degree in business, management, or a related field OR
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience leading a team of 10+ employees
  • POS system experience required; SWEED experience strongly preferred
  • Medical cannabis, retail, or restaurant management experience highly desirable
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must successfully pass a Level 2 background check

Working Conditions

This position operates in a professional retail dispensary setting and routinely uses standard office and retail equipment. This is a Full-time position , with flexibility required. Evening, weekend, holiday, and extended‑hour shifts are expected based on business needs.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. The role frequently involves using hands and arms, reaching, and may require lifting up to 50 pounds.
