Director Global Service Design (Remote)

The Director Global Service Design, leads operation design and capability reviews with clients and prospects. This role is vital in designing operational models that meet clients' goals and ensure BCD's efficient operation.

The Director Global Service Design will work closely with the Commercial teams to identify opportunities for new business and support service optimization and retention of our existing clients. Working in partnership with BCD’s operational leadership team, the Director of Service Design will ensure the service proposals are aligned with BCD’s operational strategy and compellingly communicated to our clients.

As a Director Global Service Design, you will

• Work with our program managers and sales teams across the globe on prospect and client service designs
• Provide operational input to our pricing teams and bid writers
• Align with Solutions Engineering to match product, technology, and operational capabilities
• Review, negotiate, and document SLAs and statements of work
• Ensure operational input, buy-in, and sign-off from regional operational leadership to ensure implementation readiness when business is won
• Translate client expectations into operational strategy
• Ensure alignment of proposals to BCD operational strategy

About you

• Background in TMC operations, deep understanding of operational capabilities
• Knowledge of the global travel industry – you understand the uniqueness of all regions
• Good understanding of travel distribution, NDC, travel technology, and products/services
• You are passionate about corporate travel and keep abreast of industry changes
• Outstanding listener – you can take a client’s ask and translate it into a design they can’t refuse
• Highly proficient, confident, and entertaining presenter
• You build bridges: you know how to get buy-in from multiple stakeholders
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel; PowerPoint would be a plus.
• You don’t mind traveling. You won’t live on a plane, but you’ll need to be in front of our internal teams and clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English; German language skills are a plus
