Job Description
Define the regional pricing strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the VP Commercial Systems & Pricing and the key stakeholders, tracking performance, delivery and results.
Define and optimise the rate structure, integrating local needs with the global standards, monitoring its application and ensuring the architecture is respected throughout the network and consistency is assured
Overseeing the specialist second line support required from Pricing to resolve tickets as well as dealing with general queries in an effective manner with Hotels and RMs
Supporting the continued rollout of Hotel Distribution, providing feedback and advising on required enhancements such as additional reporting needs
Leadership of the Regional Offer Committee, assessing, co-ordinating and prioritising multi-brand Promotions and Offers with RM, E-Commerce, Brand, Loyalty and Analytics teams
Campaign Solicitation and Delivery
Oversight of the solicitation process, including GM, Ops, RM and other stakeholder communication, monitoring offer availability thresholds etc. Delivering and enabling the pricing aspects of campaigns such as Rate Loading, working closely with Central and SMDL
Standards & Processes
Rigorous assessment and development of pricing/offer management activities to ensure system standards are in place and maintained.
Monitor industry trends for the latest competitive Pricing strategies, new toolkit developments etc.
Qualifications
- Strategic and Analytical Problem Solver
- Significant technical understanding of Hotel and Distribution Systems and processes
- Ability to communicate strategically coupled with a great attention to detail
- Commercial and dynamic thinker
- Ability to lead, influence & motivate
- 5-+10 years operational experience in RM or Central support working with commercial systems: CRS, PMS, Distribution systems, RMS, Upsell tools
- Deep technical understanding of Pricing tools and methodologies with a strong track record of developing effective Pricing Strategies
- Leadership and project management of large scale system deployments
- Previous team management, leading pricing specialists
