THE OPPORTUNITY
Build a World-Class Global Supply ChainAs Director of Supply Chain, you will drive the strategic direction and execution of our end-to-end supply chain organization. This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll define sourcing strategies, manage global suppliers and contract manufacturers, optimize international logistics networks, and collaborate with key stakeholders to support clinical studies, manufacturing scale-up, and future commercialization. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and cost targets
- Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and performance across multiple geographies
- Oversee procurement planning, inventory management, and demand forecasting
- Design and implement supply chain optimization initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Lead regulatory compliance for imports/exports and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Manage quality assurance and supplier audits to ensure product specifications
- Coordinate logistics and transportation networks for domestic and international shipments
- Implement supply chain risk management and business continuity strategies
- Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and systems
- Lead cross-functional collaboration between operations, quality, regulatory, and commercial teams
- Analyze supply chain metrics and provide strategic recommendations for optimization
- Manage supply chain budgets and financial planning
- Foster innovation in supply chain technologies and methodologies
- Build and mentor high-performing supply chain teams
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, etc.)
- Prepare reports and presentations on supply chain performance for stakeholders
- Support new product introductions and manufacturing scale-up initiatives
- Develop strategic partnerships with key suppliers and logistics providers
- Maintain supply chain documentation and standard operating procedures
- Champion operational excellence and drive continuous process improvement
QUALIFICATIONS
7-10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management or procurement (medical devices or regulated industries)University degree (Bac+3 minimum) in supply chain, logistics, engineering, or related fieldFluent in English; French language skills are an advantageDeep knowledge of regulatory frameworks: ISO 9001, ISO 13485, EU MDR 2017/745, quality systemsProficiency with ERP systems and supply chain management software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)Strong project management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentExperience with global supply chains and international logistics
