Director of Sales - Personal Care

As the company continues through an exciting phase of growth, it is looking to appoint a Sales Director to help open new doors, win strategic business, and expand its presence across key markets.
Position Overview
This is a senior commercial role focused on driving new business growth and developing strategic customer relationships across the personal care and OTC landscape.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and converting new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline, and helping shape the company’s commercial growth strategy during a key stage of expansion.
This role would suit an experienced, commercially sharp sales leader with a strong track record in contract manufacturing , who is confident operating in a front-end business development capacity and comfortable engaging with both emerging and established brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a targeted commercial strategy to generate new business across skin care, hair care, body care, and OTC
- Identify, approach, and win new brand customers across relevant market segments
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through the full sales cycle
- Lead commercial discussions, negotiate opportunities, and convert prospects into long-term partnerships
- Expand relationships with key industry stakeholders and strengthen market presence
- Represent the business at customer meetings, site visits, trade shows, and industry events
- Work closely with internal technical, operational, and leadership teams to support new business opportunities
- Contribute to the wider commercial direction of the business during its next phase of growth
Candidate Requirements
- Proven success in a senior sales or business development role within personal care, beauty and/or OTC contract manufacturing
- Strong track record of winning new business and opening strategic accounts
- Experience selling contract manufacturing solutions across skin care, hair care, body care, and/or OTC
- Ability to operate effectively in a remote, field-based, customer-facing role
- Strong commercial instinct, relationship-building ability, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Willingness to travel regularly as part of the role
