Director of Sales - MICE - F/M

At the Carlton Cannes , we are seeking a Director of Sales – MICE , reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, to drive international performance with a strong focus on domestic/ European and Northern America (Groups & Incentives).

Recently spectacularly renovated, the hotel now features a state-of-the-art Conference Center and highly adaptable, performance-driven teams in Cannes — recognised as one of the world’s leading event destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the international MICE strategy, with a strong focus on European & Northern American markets for luxury corporate & incentive segments.

• Lead and develop a team of 4 (internal & external sales), setting clear objectives, ensuring strong communication and conducting structured performance appraisals.

• Grow and leverage an established international portfolio, securing key accounts and long-term partnerships while maximising revenue and market share.

Profile & Mindset

To successfully fill this role, you must possess the following qualifications, attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

• Strong background in international luxury hospitality markets, with proven success in Northern America (Groups & Incentives).

• Solid leadership experience with a structured, results-driven approach to team management.

• Established client portfolio and high-level negotiation expertise.
