Director of Luxury Product Definition

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Definition: Define product concepts and roadmaps bridging European luxury (jewelry, watches, leather goods, travel, beauty) with emerging tech (smart wearables, smart glasses, biometrics, AI, digital authentication).
• Strategic Client Engagement: Lead high-level product and innovation engagements with LVMH Group maisons and major European luxury brands.
• End-to-End Leadership: Drive product definition from concept, CMF, and prototyping to mass-production readiness, ensuring top-tier craftsmanship, aesthetics, and reliability.
• Tech & Material Innovation: Integrate advanced materials (sapphire crystal, precision metals, ceramics) with cutting-edge tech (sensors, AI, smart locks, digital traceability).
• BD Collaboration: Partner with the European Business Development team on customer pitches, RFIs/RFQs, executive proposals, and long-term roadmap planning.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in luxury goods, premium consumer electronics, watches, jewelry, or leather goods.
• 5+ years in senior Product Management, Product Definition, or Innovation/Design Strategy.
• Deep knowledge of the European luxury ecosystem (LVMH, Richemont, Kering, Chanel, Hermès , etc.).
• Proven track record taking products from initial concept to industrialization and launch.
• Strong expertise in premium materials, CMF, luxury craftsmanship, and hardware tech feasibility.
• Exceptional executive presentation, storytelling, and client-facing skills. xuezdbg
• Fluency in English required; French strongly preferred.
• Based in Europe with willingness to travel frequently (France, Italy, Switzerland, etc.).
