Director - M&A, Luxembourg

Role:

• Lead and manage large M&A transactions
• Develop a through understanding of the client’s requirements, working with them to develop the best approach
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure that work is properly executed at all times
• Identify and anticipate risks that require escalation
• Play a key role in all origination efforts by identifying and analysing business development opportunities
• Communicate effectively internally, keeping relevant stakeholders informed of deal progress and risks
• Actively strengthen external relationships to broaden your network and contribute to origination efforts
• Actively mentor and develop more junior members of the team

Candidate:

• Proven track record of working beginning to end on large M&A transactions is essential
• Qualified Chartered Accountant or similar level of education
• French or German speaker essential
• Knowledge of the Lux market essential
• Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders
• High level of commercial acumen
• Proficient in detailed financial and commercial analysis and the ability to identify potential areas of sensitivity
• Ability to identify key issues on assignments and suggest workable solutions
• Experience in presenting findings clearly in reports and other deliverables to clients
• Eligible to work in Luxembourg. Unfortunately, candidates who need visa sponsorship can not be considered for this role
