Public Affairs Director, Europe – Responsibilities
- Craft and execute advocacy plans to ensure a favorable political and regulatory climate in key markets.
- Anticipate and get ahead of potential business challenges arising from political or policy decisions.
- Build relationships in strategic markets with key local, state and federal government elected officials and regulators, as well as public and private insurance providers and their trade associations.
- Act as a liaison to relevant entities and stakeholders representing EU institutions, trade and political organizations.
- Foster productive relationships between Tilray senior management and elected officials, regulators and stakeholders.
- Organize briefings, meetings and other interactions with government officials to build positive relationships prior to and throughout Tilray’s introduction to the market.
- Listen and understand external market concerns and actively communicate to internal business leaders.
- Identify and monitor operational issues that may benefit from legislative and/or regulatory action.
- Track political and policy developments that could impact Tilray’s business plans in Europe.
