Director - EPM Consulting Practice

What is the role and company?

A fast-growing boutique consulting firm with a strong presence in France and across Europe is seeking a Director to lead and grow its Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) consulting practice. The firm partners with leading EPM software vendors and is at the forefront of delivering high-impact finance transformation projects for enterprise clients.

This is a strategic leadership role with a 50/50 split between project delivery and business development. You’ll work closely with the founding partners in an entrepreneurial environment, helping to shape the firm’s growth trajectory while leading complex client engagements.

What will I be doing?

• Lead the delivery of complex EPM transformation programmes, with a focus on consolidation, planning, and reporting
• Manage client relationships and ensure high-quality project outcomes
• Drive business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities, shaping proposals, and closing deals
• Collaborate with EPM software vendors to develop joint go-to-market strategies
• Mentor and develop a growing team of consultants, fostering a high-performance culture
• Contribute to the firm’s strategic direction and service offering development
• Represent the firm at industry events, vendor forums, and client engagements

What profile will I require?

Required:

• 10+ years of professional experience in consulting, with a strong focus on EPM/CPM transformation projects
• Proven track record of leading complex finance transformation programmes
• Experience in business development and selling consulting services
• Deep knowledge of financial consolidation, planning, and reporting processes
• Familiarity with one or more EPM platforms such as SAP BFC/BPC, Oracle EPM, OneStream, CCH Tagetik, Pigment, or similar
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
• Based in or willing to relocate to Paris, with flexibility for hybrid working

Preferred:

• Experience in a high-growth or entrepreneurial consulting environment
• Exposure to multi-country or international project delivery
• Ability to build and lead high-performing consulting teams
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to delivery
