Overview
Senior Sales Director based in Paris, responsible for driving Cash Management engagement across a broad portfolio of corporate, fund, and insurance clients. Focus on selling Payments, Transactional FX, Card Issuing and Liquidity solutions, with a strong sales mindset and expertise in liquidity management, payments solutions and regulatory frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Manage and set strategic direction for the sales function, aligning goals with senior management and the broader bank strategy.
- Lead a sales team, overseeing performance, setting objectives, and driving efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement sales policies, procedures and risk management frameworks to mitigate potential risks and maintain compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Maintain high-quality relationships with external stakeholders and third‑party service providers, ensuring alignment with sales and compliance functions.
- Monitor and report on the financial performance of the sales department, tracking revenue, profitability and cost control.
- Conduct market research to understand trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes, identifying new market opportunities.
- Coordinate domestic sales activity and cross‑border opportunities, collaborating closely with global booking centres.
- Act as a principal contact point for key clients and internal stakeholders, influencing decisions at senior levels.
Qualifications
- Strong sales mindset with proven ability to present to senior stakeholders and effectively influence outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid technical knowledge in liquidity management, payments solutions, and industry regulatory frameworks.
- Experience or strong grasp of Transactional FX is an advantage.
- Knowledge of emerging digital asset capabilities and AI trends in treasury.
- Intellectual curiosity, quick learning capability, and strong analytical judgment with structured thinking.
- Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and ability to work within a matrix organisation.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative culture and embody a collaborative mindset.
