Your mission: Director Scientific Publications (M/F)
As part of the creation of a new position within the Medical and Patient Affairs Department, the Director Scientific Publications will play a central role in shaping and driving our global publication plan.
- Developing and implementing the scientific publication strategy and the corresponding publication plans across our portfolios (clinical studies, RWE, meta‑analyses, review articles, etc.).
- Ensuring that study results are made available to healthcare professionals and patients with the highest level of integrity and in line with international publication standards and good publication practices.
- Leading and managing the Pharma Scientific Publications team, guaranteeing the effective deployment of publication plans across all portfolios, from R&D through to commercialization, for Dermatology, Oncology and Primary Care.
- Supporting the overall publication strategy for our Dermatology, Oncology and Primary Care portfolios and translating it into concrete plans.
- Working closely with affiliates, R&D, Disease area Medical Directions, Market Access, Patient Affairs and the Medical Omnichannel team to identify publication needs and align each abstract, poster, oral communication and manuscript with our global strategy.
- Overseeing the full life cycle of publications: coordinating authors and agencies, leading development, review, approval and submission, ensuring compliance with good publication practices and international guidelines.
- Defining and steering the international publication plan with local medical affairs teams and partners, and following execution through clear KPIs.
- Managing the scientific publications team, ensuring publication plans are deployed from R&D through to commercialization, overseeing related budgets, and implementing processes and governance so the function runs efficiently over time.

Who you are
- You hold a 5‑year university degree, Master’s, PhD or Doctorate in pharmacy, medicine or science.
- You have 2–5 years of solid experience in scientific publications.
- You know how to take a study from results to abstract, poster or manuscript, and to work with congresses and journals.
- Experience in Medical Affairs, R&D or Real‑World Evidence is a strong plus, as is exposure to industry and/or laboratory environments, in addition to academia.
- Previous managerial experience is a plus, and you are ready to take responsibility for a small team.
- You are comfortable navigating at least one therapeutic area, ideally in dermatology, oncology or primary care.
- You bring more than technical knowledge: you understand the end‑to‑end publication process and are used to coordinating authors, agencies and internal experts, keeping timelines under control and ensuring accuracy, compliance and usability by medical and commercial teams.
- You are fluent in English at business level and comfortable working in an international environment. French is not mandatory.
