We are now seeking a Director of Labour and Employee Relations to take the lead in fostering constructive social dialogue across our organisation, which is supported by a single Works Council (CSE). This position plays a central role in sustaining a healthy workplace atmosphere, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations, and promoting a flexible, practical approach that aligns with a small, fast‑moving environment. The role will also involve managing individual employee relations issues and providing guidance to managers as they navigate sensitive or complex situations.

The Director of Labour and Employee Relation will assume a standalone, high‑impact role working closely with both HR and the executive leadership team, acting as the organisation’s primary point of contact for unions and works councils. This position blends strategic vision with hands‑on influence and will require a labor relations professional with additional HR Business Partnering experience.

In this role, you will guide the organisation through key interactions with representative bodies, prepare leaders for meaningful engagement, and ensure that all obligations, documentation and follow‑ups are delivered with rigour, clarity and professionalism. You will also play a pivotal role in supporting managers through sensitive individual matters, bringing seasoned judgement, a pragmatic mindset and a strong sense of fairness. Your ability to navigate complexity with discretion and strategic insight will be essential.

We are seeking a senior practitioner with deep knowledge of the French labor landscape, and demonstrable experience managing union and works council relations. In addition, some HR Business Partner experience would be a definite plus for this role. Strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at senior levels are critical.
