PLANT QUALITY DIRECTOR – M/ F

South of Lyon – France

Reporting both to the Site Director and the Business Unit Quality Director, you will lead the Quality strategy of a large and complex industrial site located south of Lyon. You will oversee a structured Quality organization of 50+ professionals, covering production quality, supplier quality, project & industrialization quality, quality system & audits, and customer quality.

You ensure the full compliance of products and processes with customer expectations and applicable standards. Working closely with all plant departments, you intervene from the early project/industrialization phases through to the delivery of finished products, and act as a key driver of Quality culture across the organisation.

You define and monitor performance indicators, implement corrective and preventive action plans, and contribute directly to the plant’s operational performance and transformation.

Candidate Profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Around 15 years’ experience, including several years as Plant Quality Director in a complex manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated leadership of large quality teams (>50 people)
• Fluent in English (daily working language)
• Strong customer orientation, hands‑on management style, and ability to operate in a transforming international organisation
