Digitalization and Automation Apprentice

Job Summary

As a Digitalization and Automation Apprentice within the Operations department at Europ Assistance, you will support the Digital team in its mission to transform and optimize operational processes through digital tools and AI‑driven automation. This role offers a unique opportunity to understand how a transformation team operates in an insurance company, with a focus on the Travel business line, the group’s core activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Support onboarding of countries onto group solutions, including tools powered by LLM‑based AI, and manage deployment and adoption.
• Conduct market and internal research to identify new digitalization and automation opportunities and test promising use cases through proof‑of‑concept initiatives.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, including optimizing processes and performing data analysis with Excel to support decision‑making.
• Participate in the automation of recurring reports.

Preferred Experience

• Student from a business school or engineering school, or enrolled in a Master’s degree in digital transformation, data & AI, project management, or innovation & technology management.
• Strong analytical mindset, methodical approach to project management and data analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in English.
• Bonus: Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, experience in creating GPT agents, familiarity with AI concepts and digital.
