#DIGITALCAMPUS Network Project Manager (M/F)
Overview
Take off with Airbus Helicopters! Airbus Helicopters is looking for a NETWORK Project Manager (m/f) to join the Connectivity Department based in Marignane, France. You will work on network and connectivity projects for the IM network department, across LAN, WAN, Wireless, Network Security, Internet Access, and related technologies within Airbus Helicopters and its subsidiaries worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Framing, planning, executing, testing, and controlling key transversal projects for the IM network department (LAN, WAN, Network security, WiFi, 5G) within the mother company and subsidiaries worldwide.
- Develop and implement project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, schedules, timelines, and budgets; ensure proper allocation of resources.
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Network solution architects, LAN/WAN teams, Network security, Hosting and Cloud teams).
- Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders; prepare Quality Gates and provide status updates.
- Monitor progress, identify risks and issues, manage dependencies, and address bottlenecks; conduct regular project meetings.
- Provide guidance to team members and promote a collaborative, high-performance environment; ensure adherence to project management best practices and company standards.
- Conduct post-project analysis and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a project manager with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Background in network technologies (LAN, WAN, Network Security, Firewall/Proxy) and Infrastructure Technology.
- Understanding of large IS environments; PMI methodology knowledge (PMP or equivalent is a strong plus).
- Strong organizational, multitasking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with project management software/tools; ability to work in a fast-paced, matrix environment; attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with external suppliers and complex contracts; ability to travel as needed (Paris, Toulouse, Donauwörth).
- English fluency required; French negotiation level; German or Spanish knowledge a plus.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and to adapt to changing project needs.
