Infrastructure Project Manager – Site Transformation (f/m)
Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager to join our Digital Infrastructures & Platforms department, based in Marignane, France.

Your future missions
You will be part of a team ensuring the efficient design, deployment, and evolution of Airbus Helicopters’ Major IT infrastructure to support business needs, while maintaining security, performance, scalability, and cost‑effectiveness. As part of the Architecture & Projects team, you will drive critical infrastructure projects to support site transformation initiatives at our Marignane plant.
Accountabilities
You will report directly to the Enterprise Infrastructure and IT Projects entity, which leads and executes architectural and project initiatives across our infrastructure domain.
Your challenges – Full project lifecycle
- Project Planning & Tracking: develop, monitor, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and action registers for all assigned infrastructure workstreams.
- Risk & Issue Management: proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating critical items to relevant stakeholders and management as required.
- Methodology Compliance: prepare and lead official project milestones in strict compliance with our internal project methodology standards.
- Actor Coordination: coordinate and lead multidisciplinary teams, including internal IT teams, external vendors, business unit representatives, and technical experts.
- Budget Oversight: track project expenditure and resource utilization against the approved budget, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Stakeholder Communication: establish and maintain clear, consistent communication channels with all project stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and status reports.
Your profile
- Project leadership: minimum of 5 years of professional experience managing complex, cross‑divisional IT infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on infrastructure deployments (network, server, cloud, or digital workplace).
- Technical Knowledge: proven and very good knowledge of all core infrastructure components and technologies (LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, virtualization, end‑user computing, etc.).
- Communication: demonstrated ability to manage expectations and communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior business leadership.
- Soft Skills: strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Additional qualifications
- Professional certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).
- Certification or practical experience with service‑management best practices (ITIL Foundation or higher).
- Prior experience managing projects specifically within a manufacturing or industrial plant transformation context.
