Job Description

Airbus Helicopters seeks a Database Administrator (f/m/d) in the Infrastructure Technologies department at the Marignane site, near Marseille, France. This role focuses on shaping the future of aerospace by managing and optimizing database environments critical to helicopter manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize production, development, and test environments for ORACLE, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other database technologies.
• Collaborate with System Architects to ensure database layer meets rigorous performance requirements.
• Perform regular maintenance, including backups, restores, and statistics calculations to ensure high availability.
• Support and back up the database product manager.
• Maintain databases of critical applications such as 3DEXPERIENCE.

Qualifications

• Master degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience managing ORACLE, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL databases.
• Knowledge of scripting languages for automation and analysis.
• Proficiency in creating and managing technical documentation.
• Strong communication, teamwork, autonomy, and crisis management skills.
• Experience working with international teams and stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; German proficiency is a plus.
