Digital Workplace Tech Lead

Role Overview
Lead the Workplace IT function across France and the United States, owning both operations and strategy for end‑user IT. You will act as the go‑to leader for Workplace IT, driving standards, mentoring, and shaping the internal IT environment across multiple regions (Europe, North America, Middle East, Africa), supporting approximately 360 users and devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Workplace IT function
- Act as the primary owner of Workplace IT across regions
- Coordinate and mentor Level 1 support (internal or external)
- Set priorities, improve processes, and raise overall support quality
- Drive a user‑first, high‑performance IT culture
- Run global IT operations
- Oversee end‑user support and escalation management
- Own onboarding/offboarding workflows at scale
- Ensure consistent service delivery across all locations
- Manage vendors and local partners internationally
- Own and scale the workplace stack
- Lead administration and evolution of identity & access management, MDM / endpoint management, SSO setup, security stack (AV, VPN, firewall), and collaboration tools
- Own IT asset lifecycle and governance
- Drive projects & continuous improvement
- Lead tooling and infrastructure projects end‑to‑end
- Automate tasks using Copilot, Power Automate, and PowerShell
- Define architecture, documentation, and security standards
- Identify gaps, propose solutions, and implement improvements
- Bring structure, scalability, and long‑term vision to Workplace IT
Profile Required
- 5+ years in Workplace IT, Systems, or Network roles, with leadership or ownership experience
- Ability to lead without a large team (hands‑on + strategic)
- Strong decision‑making skills and a sense of accountability
- Experience coordinating stakeholders across regions
- Excellent communication skills, able to align technical and business needs
- A proactive mindset: anticipates problems rather than reacts to them
Languages
- Fluent English is mandatory – daily collaboration with US‑based team members and leading discussions, projects, and decisions in English
- French is required
- Spanish or Italian is a plus
