IATF France is one of the IATF Oversight Offices supporting the International Automotive Task Force (IATF). Its mission is to oversee the consistent implementation and continuous improvement of the IATF 16949 certification scheme by working with certification bodies, automotive manufacturers and international stakeholders.

IATF France contributes to the governance, integrity and effectiveness of the IATF certification system through oversight activities, technical expertise and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role

We are looking for a professional with a dual background combining industrial quality or manufacturing experience with proven expertise in data science, information systems, Artificial Intelligence and cybersecurity to support business transformation.

The successful candidate will contribute to the digital transformation of IATF France's oversight activities by combining expertise in industrial quality with competencies in data science, artificial intelligence, information systems, and cybersecurity.

A key aspect of the role is to strengthen IATF France's capability in information systems governance. The successful candidate will contribute to IT governance discussions, assess and challenge proposed technical solutions when appropriate, and help ensure that digital platforms effectively support IATF France's oversight mission and strategic objectives.

Working closely with international stakeholders, the successful candidate will act as the bridge between business needs, quality requirements and digital technologies, contributing to the evolution of the IATF certification ecosystem.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Transformation & Information Systems

•     Contribute to the digital transformation of IATF France's oversight activities.•     Support the development, evolution, and cybersecurity of the information systems used to manage oversight and certification activities.

•     Represent business and operational requirements in IT and digital transformation initiatives.

•     Challenge proposed IT solutions from a functional, business and data perspective when appropriate.

•     Translate business requirements into functional specifications for digital solutions.

•     Contribute to the definition of priorities for digital platforms, data architecture and future system developments.

Data Science & Data Management

•     Structure, consolidate and analyse data related to certification activities, audit results and certification body performance.

•     Ensure data quality, consistency and traceability across multiple information sources.

•     Develop dashboards, KPIs and analytical reports supporting oversight activities and management decision-making.

•     Contribute to establishing data governance practices across IATF France activities.

Artificial Intelligence

•     Identify, evaluate and implement AI use cases supporting certification and oversight activities.

•     Apply AI technologies to document analysis, information retrieval, anomaly detection and knowledge management.

•     Evaluate  emerging  AI  solutions  and  assess  their  applicability  within  the  IATF environment.

•     Promote the responsible adoption of AI, ensuring transparency, reliability and business value.

Quality & Certification

•     Bring industrial quality expertise into digital transformation initiatives.

•     Support the evolution of oversight methodologies using data-driven approaches.

•     Participate in international working groups involving certification bodies, automotive manufacturers and other stakeholders.

•     Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives supporting the effectiveness of the IATF certification scheme.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Experience

•     Minimum five years of professional experience in an industrial environment.

•     Proven experience in applying data science, information systems, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence to improve business processes.

•     Experience leading or contributing to digital transformation initiatives.

•     Background in Quality Management, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality.

•     Experience in the automotive industry is considered a plus.

•     Knowledge of certification schemes, audit processes or management systems is considered a plus.

Technical Competencies

•     Data science and analytics: SQL, Python, Power BI or equivalent tools.

•     Data management and governance.

•     Information systems, cybersecurity, business applications and digital platforms.

•     Experience with APIs, system integration and data exchange between enterprise applications.

•     Practical application of Artificial Intelligence, including Generative AI, in business environments.

•     Cybersecurity principles applied to information systems, data protection and business- critical digital platforms.

•     Business process digitalisation and workflow optimisation.

•     Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 is considered a plus.

Personal Skills

•     Strong analytical mindset and structured problem-solving skills.

•     Ability to bridge business needs, quality requirements and digital technologies.

•     Confidence to engage with international IT teams and constructively challenge technical proposals when appropriate.

Languages

•     Fluent English is mandatory.

•     French is highly desirable.

•     Additional languages are considered a plus.
