Your future role

We are looking for an intern for our Services department. within the Maintenance Digitalization mission of the Maintenance Digitalization team is to improve the performance of Alstom products, in terms of maintenance costs, availability and reliability, through the development, deployment and validation of Digital Analytics strategies. Sensors are increasingly integrated into rolling stock components and trackside equipment. High storage and computing capacities are required to process the signals generated by these sensors: ensuring that the results obtained are sound and cost-effective is a Digital Maintenance Intern. You will participate in the definition of analytics strategies at the level of railway systems (on-board or trackside), gathering the expectations expressed by Alstom''s customers, assigning them realistic proposals (in interaction with railway experts and data-scientists), and balancing the implementation efforts with the expected outcomes. You''ll look to you for:

• Supporting project execution by validating the digital inputs coming from the monitored equipment
• Investigating unforeseen equipment behavior via Data Analysis
• Validating our algorithms results via KPIs calculation
• Facilitating user training and project handover to regional teams

• Degree in engineering or a master’s level qualification (bac +5)
• Specialization in electronics, mechanics, and/or IT is desirable
• Programming notion (Python) desirable

• Attention to detail and a focus on delivering quality outcomes
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
