What you will do

At Data & AI Foundation, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.

Responsibilities

• Design a user‑centric MLOps environment that is intuitive, reliable, and optimized for self‑service usage by data scientists and ML engineers.
• Develop and maintain the core components of Volvo’s MLOps framework on UDP, focusing on reducing operational overhead and automating repetitive tasks.
• Define and support end‑to‑end integrations across Azure Databricks, Unity Catalog, Azure ML, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, and other cloud services to deliver a cohesive MLOps ecosystem.
• Continuously assess platform pain points, gather user feedback, and drive iterative improvements that enhance developer experience, productivity, and operational maturity.
• Collaborate closely with platform architects, vendors, and AI practitioners to co‑develop standards, best practices, and operational patterns for ML lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Experience collaborating across large international organizations.
• Passion for AI/ML engineering and platform enablement, with a strong background in MLOps, Azure cloud services, and the end‑to‑end ML lifecycle.
• Expertise in Databricks.
• Strong skills at the intersection of technology and user experience, with a track record of simplifying complex workflows.
