Overview

As part of Decathlon’s Personal Buying Experience team, you’ll design simple, efficient in‑store experiences that support teammates on the move. Your work will combine operational excellence with user needs, bridging business objectives, technology and everyday operational requirements.

Context & Project

Decathlon’s mission is to bring people together through sport and make well‑being accessible for all. Within an omnichannel context, Cube InStore – the app that supports sales assistants in customer advising, selling and other in‑store tasks – will be the focus of your design work. Your goal is to continuously improve the Advice and Checkout verticals as part of a cross‑functional team.

Role & Responsibilities

• Act as a key partner with cross‑functional product teams to influence strategy, roadmaps and daily tactics.
• Identify and tackle the most relevant opportunities for improvement.
• Explore, co‑create, prototype and iterate multiple solutions while ensuring they remain desirable, viable and feasible.
• Build long‑term impact by focusing on outcomes rather than solely on features.

Core Skills & Expertise

• Strategy – Support an holistic vision of the Personal Buying Experience domain, including omnichannel journeys and ecosystems.
• Problem Discovery – Uncover and refine opportunities through qualitative/quantitative research, opportunity‑solution trees and prioritisation.
• Solution Discovery – Prototype early, iterate often, and design usable interfaces aligned with the design system and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Testing – De‑risk the relevance, usability and impact of solutions using usability tests, A/B tests, surveys, etc.
