The Digital Manufacturing & Supply organization has established a dedicated organization to cover MSAT & Leading at the same level as Quality, Manufacturing & Supply Chain. This reflects the growing importance of digitalization of these functions and their establishment as global functions within M&S.
Sanofi Global MSAT (Manufacturing Sciences, Analytics, and Technology) acts as a crucial link between our R&D and manufacturing facilities, playing a vital role in securing the present portfolio and delivering future launches of high‑quality and innovative drugs and vaccines. One key priority is to launch 3 to 5 new products annually across various modalities.
As the Platform Functional Expert, you will play a critical role in driving the implementation and management of Sanofi’s M&S Launches activities, securing our future product launches.
Responsibilities
- Ensure solution design fit to purpose:
- Ensure harmonization and challenge business requests in the domain for implementation.
- Participate to design authority from a solution perspective, ensuring sustainability of choice and maximization of out‑of‑the‑box usage.
- Translate business storyboards into detailed functional use cases and non‑functional requirements; iterate through these in design workshops with business SMEs.
- Prepare functional gap analysis and present functional design trade‑offs ensuring seamless integration.
- Create and maintain business process model blueprints covering the logical data model and required augmentations, configurations and customizations.
- Collaborate in creating integration/interface specifications with Enterprise and System Architects.
- Contribute to or lead proofs of concept leveraging the 3DExperience platform, documenting and demonstrating use‑case design principles.
- Develop functional and non‑functional specification documentation including performance, security, protocols, sequences, etc.
- Document data quality requirements and impact specifications related to data quality assessment, deployment models and legacy migration strategies.
- Interface with LEDP Technical Team to confirm feasibility of the design.
- Contribute to the platform roadmap and collaborate with Product Owners on product roadmaps.
- Act as a key escalation point for support teams, contributing to problem‑solving and issue resolution as part of L3 support.
- Integrate end‑user considerations, data segregation, IP, security and GxP requirements into solution design.
- Platform deployment and usage:
- Provide ad‑hoc support to business teams in the deployment of the solution (L3 support).
- Ensure alignment of the solution with business expectations from a functional and ergonomic perspective.
- OOTB evolution:
- Follow up on Dassault Systems roadmap evolution.
- Ensure creation and follow‑up of Product Enhancement Requests with Dassault Systems.
About You
Education/Certifications:
- Minimum B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
- Advanced degree (e.g., M.Sc) preferred.
Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in PLM functional solution design, preferably in a process industry.
- Deep understanding of business processes, to increase performance outcomes.
- Sound knowledge of product and process design, including model‑based system engineering from design to qualification.
- Knowledge and experience of Dassault System 3DExperience platform implementation in a recent version (post‑2018), with a particular focus on the Delmia side of the platform data model.
- Experience with business process mapping; ability to simplify and maintain a 360° “big picture” view of the solution.
- Understanding of master data principles and technical overlaps among digital platforms, from PLM to ERP, MES, SCM, etc.
- Familiarity with Transformers and Machine Learning and their implementation.
- Strong written and oral communication skills (English; additional languages are an asset).
- Strong interpersonal communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
