Job Overview

Digital Platform Functional Expert – Lyon, France. Sanofi is a global biopharmaceutical company focused on human health, combining breakthrough science with advanced technology to develop life‑changing medicines and vaccines. The Digital & Data team drives digital transformation, and this role supports the Manufacturing Sciences, Analytics & Technology (MSAT) group in launching new products faster and ensuring data continuity across CMC and Launch units.

Responsibilities

• Ensure solution design fits purpose and challenge business requests in the domain (e.g., Launch Engine, Integrated Collaborative Scheduling).
• Translate business storyboards into detailed functional use cases and non‑functional requirements, and conduct design workshops with business SMEs.
• Prepare functional gap analysis and present design trade‑offs for seamless integration.
• Maintain business process model blueprints, covering logical data models, required augmentations, configurations, and customizations.
• Collaborate with Enterprise and System Architects on integration/interface specifications.
• Lead proofs of concept on the 3DExperience platform, documenting and demonstrating use‑case design principles.
• Develop functional and non‑functional specification documentation, including performance, security, protocols, and sequences.
• Document data quality requirements and impact specifications for data quality assessment, deployment models, and legacy migration strategies.
• Confirm feasibility of design with the LEDP Technical Team and contribute to technical specifications.
• Contribute to the platform roadmap and product roadmaps in close relationship with Product Owners.
• Act as a key escalation point for support teams, providing L3 support and problem resolution.
• Integrate end‑user considerations, data segregation, IP, security, and GxP requirements into solution design.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to business teams in solution deployment and maintain alignment with business expectations.
• Follow Dassault Systemes roadmap evolution and manage Product Enhancement Requests.

Qualifications

• Minimum B.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of PLM functional solution design experience, preferably in a process industry.
• Deep understanding of business processes to improve performance outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of product and process design, including model‑based system design.
• Experience with Dassault Systemes 3DExperience platform implementation (post‑2018), especially the Delmia side.
• Business Process Mapping experience.
• Ability to simplify complex solutions and maintain a 360° view of the overall architecture.
• Understanding of master data principles and technical overlaps among digital platforms (PLM, ERP, MES, SCM).
• Familiarity with Transformers and Machine Learning implementation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Salary

€54400,00 – €72533 (final compensation based on experience, skills, location and other factors).
