About The Job

The Digital Platform Functional Expert is responsible for the capture, analysis and harmonization of business requests in her/his domain, and the determination of the best method to overcome business problems using the 3DExperience platform.

Responsibilities

• Ensure harmonization and challenge business requests in domain for implementation.
• Participate in design authority to ensure sustainability of choice and maximization of OOTB usage.
• Translate business storyboards into detailed functional use cases and non-functional requirements; iterate through design workshops with business SMEs.
• Prepare functional gap analysis and present design trade-offs that ensure seamless integration.
• Create and maintain business process model blueprints covering logical data model and required augmentations, configurations and customizations.
• ate with Enterprise and System Architects to create integration/specifications.
• Lead proofs of concept leveraging the 3DExp platform, documenting and demonstrating use cases for validation.
• Develop functional and non‑functional spec documentation including performance, security, protocols, sequences, etc.
• Document data quality requirements and impact specifications related to data quality assessment, deployment models and legacy migration strategies.
• Interface with LEDP Technical Team to confirm feasibility of the design.
• Contribute to the platform roadmap and product roadmaps in close partnership with Product Owners.
• Act as a key escalation point for support teams, contributing to problem‑solving and issue resolution as part of L3 support.
• Integrate end‑user considerations, data segregation, IP, security and GxP requirements into solution design.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to business team in deployment of the solution through solution expertise (L3 support).
• Ensure alignment of solution with business expectations from functional and ergonomic perspective.
• Follow up Dassault Systems roadmap evolution and ensure Product Enhancement Requests are created and tracked.

Qualifications

• Minimum B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Advanced degree (e.g., M.Sc) preferred.
• 5+ years experience in PLM functional solution design, preferably in a process industry.
• Deep understanding of business processes to increase performance outcomes.
• Sound knowledge of product and process design, including model‑based system definition and qualification.
• Knowledge and experience of Dassault System 3DExp platform implementation in a recent version (post‑2018), with focus on the Delmia side of the platform data model.
• Experience with Business Process Mapping, simplifying complexity and maintaining a 360° big‑picture view.
• Understanding of master data principles and digital platform technical overlaps (PLM‑ERP‑MES‑SCM).
• Familiarity with Transformers and Machine Learning and their implementation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English (additional languages an asset).
• Strong interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated efficient communication and stakeholder management skills.
