You will join the Engineering Enablers – ETE department in Engineering whose mission is to set up a foundation that allows Engineering to reach the highest efficiency, providing the most added value to our customers by deploying, guiding, and improving our portfolios of tools, solutions and ways of working.

As part of the Digital Methods & Tools team, integrated into the DDMS (Digital for Design Manufacturing & Services) squad, you will be involved in a team in charge of:

  • Developing methods and tools capabilities to put in place the integration of MBSE, Model Based System for architecture/missions loops optimization as well as End‑to‑End product development.
  • Reinforcing the link between physical simulation (Computer Aided Engineering & Multiphysics product simulation) and system architecture design.
  • Securing the digital continuity from Requirements, to System Modeling (MOFTL framework) with software & avionics management (ALM) until Electrical design integration (Pin2Pin).

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the definition of the strategic M&T roadmaps for MBSE integration in vehicle/avionics implementation optimization studies for new H/C or drone program or transverse programs.
  • Contribute to setting up user coaching (material and operations) to methodologies with MBSE as input for predictive simulations and Weight & Balance.
  • Drive tool(s) support activities for the different layers of the MBSE landscape, including integration with simulation.
  • Act as the focal point for Airbus Helicopters engineers to ensure seamless digital integration of processes and methods for MBSE model validation, change, reuse and system‑of‑systems concepts.
  • Participate in group projects/initiatives such as DDMS (digital continuity transformation project) especially for MBSE as input for parametric predictive simulations.

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge in MBSE approach (including parametric approach challenge, ontology‑based approach) for vehicle architecture or mission equipment trade‑off studies.
  • Experience in an MBSE tool such as Enterprise Architecture, Capella, MagicDraw, CATIA Magic, IBM Rhapsody or in a simulation tool such as MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Systems Engineering framework (civil or military) and SysML language knowledge for a good understanding/handling of metamodels for multiprogram applicability purposes.
  • Experience in Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) or in collaborative projects (SE/MBSE and simulation).

English: Advanced French: Fluent
