Vision and Key Stakes

The Digital Factory Manager acts as a digital innovation accelerator, leading a dedicated environment designed to rapidly deploy high-performing digital solutions. By utilizing recent technologies and agile methodologies, this role transforms business needs into concrete operational solutions that create value for both the customer and the organization. The key stake for this position is managing the structural shift from a traditional “project mode” to a continuous “product mode”. The Manager must break down organizational silos by linking Business and IT within an Integrated Hybrid Organization, ensuring that services are treated with the same strategic importance as physical products.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Oversee customer service and after‑sales support as part of a 360° customer‑centric model.
  • Factory Leadership & Governance: Oversee a single, unified Digital Factory model with key identified squads aligned to different business domains and customer needs. Maintain a permanent 6‑month backlog to ensure an industrial, repeatable production process.
  • Squad Management: Lead multidisciplinary, autonomous “squads” (comprising Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, Tech Leads, and Developers) responsible for the end‑to‑end development of specific services such as “Digital Twin” or “Remote Service Actions”.
  • Industrial Rhythm (Agile & DevOps): Implement a digital industrial production rhythm, typically targeting four releases per year (two major, two minor) to synchronize deployments with customer communication. Ensure a DevOps culture where development and operations are integrated for 24/7 solution reliability.
  • Data Activation: Prioritize data quality and activation, treating data as a core product that informs all service developments. Coordinate with technical teams to manage the lifecycle of digital products from concept to operationalization.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the physical and operational bridge between Business directions (the “What” and “Why”) and IT&D (the “How”). Collaborate closely with the Digital Advisory Panel to integrate continuous customer feedback into the factory’s output.
  • Talent & Growth: Develop internal talent pools and manage a responsive network of external expertise to increase delivery speed together with IT&D and the connectivity program.

Experience & Competencies

  • Master’s degree (Bac +5) in business, engineering, or digital transformation.
  • Proven track record in building and running digital factories or large‑scale agile organizations.
  • Extensive experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps) and managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Background in an international B2B or B2C environment, specifically within digital transformation.
  • Deep understanding of digital architectures, data management, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Fluency in French and English is mandatory.
