Solution Architect – Data and Analytics

Key Responsibilities

• Balance technological opportunities with business process requirements.
• Plan and design IT system components (hardware, software, services) and deliver the global design with technical requirements, principles, and models.
• Secure integration of solutions across applications, systems, and platforms to achieve business objectives and ensure consistency across IT products.
• Design, integrate, and implement IT solutions from a technical perspective, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Provide corporate data models, EDS, conceptual and canonical models, up‑to‑date data referentials, and define data capture & storage patterns in line with the Data & Analytics Platform guidelines.
• Implement Data Urbanisation mapping applied to the IT landscape.
• Lead the identification of authoring systems and suitable data to answer business requirements in a Data Product logic.
• Manage detailed data design through data modeling activities (CDM, LDM, PDM) and naming conventions.
• Advocate the IT services and products portfolio, identifying needs for customisation or integration, and coordinate with Product and Service Line management.
• Ensure the ICT roadmap aligns with business process optimisation and organisational change management.
• Define and plan activities with Product and Service Line managers and business contributors; safeguard that the plan is executed and value delivered.
• Coordinate delivery of IT products, services, and integrated solutions, including support from Project and Program managers.
• Communicate IT plans and changes, and their impact, to business stakeholders; guide investment decisions based on a standard catalogue of IT products and services.
• Lead scoping processes for cross‑product and service‑line solution delivery and coordinate risk mitigation.
• Drive demand management for Data & Analytics projects, document architecture patterns, and deliver project ARDs and framing studies.
• Ensure consistency in team technical practices and anticipate obsolescence topics.

• SAP BW on HANA 7.4 & BW/4, SAP HANA web apps, SAP HANA LABs, SAP Fiori for BI, SAP BO BI Platform 4.x, SAP BO Data Services, SAP Analytics Cloud
• Collaborations with ACA, ADS, SAP TIBCO Spotfire, TSSS suite, SPARX EA

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of experience in component integration, IT architecture design, product design, product development.
• IT & business strategy alignment, IT/Business change management, business plan development.
• Technology trend monitoring and information & knowledge management.
• Data modelling knowledge (CDM, LDM, PDM).
• Program/Project portfolio control.
• Advanced level in English.
• Strong focus on people, quality, planning and customer satisfaction.
• Teamwork, transparency and facilitation skills.
