Enterprise Architect (f/m) – Marignane, France

Airbus Helicopters seeks an Enterprise Architect to support the Digital Strategy & Architecture team. The role focuses on global architecture design, business roadmaps, and implementation framing across manufacturing, engineering, and customer‑service domains.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the architecture référentiel, including Application Portfolio Management (APM).
• Promote and apply the AIRBUS Group architecture framework (design patterns, principles, EA Sparx).
• Select and define AIRBUS Group standards and lead functional, business, and application architecture design.
• Develop and manage business and application roadmaps, applying enterprise‑architecture methodology and standards.
• Ensure compliance with data‑management regulations (Export Control, NATO).
• Act as an internal consultant/expert, collaborating with business teams, IM teams, Airbus divisions, and external consultants.
• Lead requirements gathering, formalise business issues and drivers, and assess technology, market, and competitor trends.
• Determine the impact of developments on Airbus Helicopters IS and business processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.
• 5–10 years of proven experience in strategic project framing within an international context.
• Dual competencies in IT and business‑process knowledge, preferably within aerospace or a similar industry.
• Experience with Application Portfolio Management.
• Hands‑on experience with architecture‑modeling tools (e.g., Sparx, ArchiMate).
• Knowledge of cloud, containerisation, security, and innovative technologies such as IoT, AR/VR, big data, AI, and RPA.
• Familiarity with public/private cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with enterprise‑architecture frameworks and repositories (TOGAF, IAF, Alfabet, ServiceNow, Mega).
• Experience in SAFe/Agile methodology.
• Proficiency in English and French at a senior level.
