DevOps & Integration Engineer

Seniority & profile

• 5 to 12 years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, embedded integration, or platform engineering,
• Strong expertise with CI systems (GitLab CI preferably), runners infrastructure, and build pipeline reliability,
• Solid understanding of embedded Linux environments, Yocto build systems, and cross-compilation workflows,
• Hands-on skills with container registries (local & cloud), artifact management, and build caching strategies,
• Good knowledge of observability stacks (logs, metrics, dashboards, alerts) for both developer and production systems,
• Familiarity with robotic testing environments, hardware-in-the-loop integration, and test-infrastructure automation,
• A mindset focused on resilience, automation, and reducing toil through smart tooling,
• Bonus: experience with OTA update workflows and the infrastructure behind reliable update delivery.

What you would work on

The DevOps & Integration team ensures that every piece of Aru’s software, firmware, and system-level integration can be built, tested, deployed, and monitored with confidence. Your mission:

• Build, evolve, and maintain Nio Robotics’ CI/CD infrastructure, including GitLab runners and build reliability SLOs,
• Manage and improve both local and cloud-based container registries,
• Enhance infrastructure observability and perform first-level monitoring, checks, and initial debugging to help resolve issues quickly,
• Enhance the testing infrastructure for greater automation and scalability, with smarter dispatching and more efficient use of builders and runners,
• Support and drive future improvements to build systems and pipelines as the company scales,
• Assist in defining and refining OTA update mechanisms for robotic systems.
