DevOps Strategy & Toolchain Evolution

• Define and maintain the DevOps roadmap across the GridBeats™ portfolio, including CI/CD evolution, toolchain modernization, automation strategy, and engineering enablement.
• Drive the transition from fragmented development and release practices towards standardized, scalable, and efficient DevOps processes across teams.
• Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and platform capabilities in CI/CD, infrastructure automation, DevSecOps, and observability, and guide their adoption where appropriate.

CI/CD & Release Management

• Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines supporting build, test, packaging, deployment, and release activities across the software portfolio.
• Establish and maintain release management practices that improve predictability, traceability, quality, and deployment efficiency.
• Work with engineering teams to streamline branching strategies, artifact management, versioning, release workflows, and deployment automation.
• Ensure software delivery pipelines support both cloud‑based and industrial/embedded software development needs where applicable.

DevSecOps & Compliance

• Embed security practices into development and delivery pipelines through automated checks, secure‑by‑design principles, vulnerability management, and policy enforcement.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, QA, and Engineering teams to ensure DevOps processes support compliance, verification, validation, and secure software delivery requirements.
• Promote DevSecOps best practices including secrets management, dependency scanning, code analysis, container security, and access control.

Telemetry, Observability & Operational Feedback

• Define and improve telemetry, logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting capabilities across systems and environments.
• Ensure teams have actionable operational visibility to support troubleshooting, incident response, performance analysis, and reliability improvement.
• Drive the use of observability data to support engineering quality, deployment confidence, and continuous improvement.

Infrastructure & Development Enablement

• Support the implementation and maintenance of modern development environments, build systems, deployment platforms, and automation frameworks.
• Improve developer productivity by reducing friction in local development, test automation, environment provisioning, and delivery workflows.
• Drive standardization of engineering tooling, templates, reusable pipeline components, and platform services where appropriate.

Reliability, Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure DevOps practices support reliability, scalability, maintainability, cybersecurity, and testability of delivered software.
• Partner with development, QA, Systems Engineering, and operations‑oriented teams to improve delivery quality and reduce manual effort and release risk.
• Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and recurring delivery issues, and drive corrective and preventive improvements.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead and support the DevOps team in day‑to‑day execution, prioritization, and technical direction.
• Mentor team members, promote knowledge sharing, and help build strong DevOps and automation capabilities across the organization.
• Collaborate effectively with software architects, developers, QA, systems teams, and cybersecurity stakeholders to align delivery practices with business and technical needs.
• Contribute to planning, workload coordination, and continuous development of team capabilities.
