Location : Bioggio, Switzerland (Onsite Role)

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Compute Linux & Storage DevOps Engineer to join our cloud transformation initiative. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Infrastructure as Code, Linux components, and enterprise storage systems, along with hands-on experience in automation and backup solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform , Ansible , and GitHub .
• Support cloud transformation efforts through scalable and secure infrastructure solutions.

System Administration:

• Manage and troubleshoot Linux-based compute and storage environments .
• Ensure the stability, performance, and security of on-premises and hybrid cloud environments.

Backup & Recovery:

• Configure and manage backup solutions for critical infrastructure and applications.

Incident & Problem Management:

• Provide L3-level support , handle on-call escalations, and manage critical incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence.

Quality & Compliance:

• Adhere to internal quality standards, regulatory requirements , and company policies .
• Contribute to service improvement plans , update the knowledge base , and train junior engineers .
• Support hiring efforts and coach team members to build technical capabilities.

Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Terraform
• Ansible
• GitHub
• Linux systems and components
• Storage (block, file, and object)
• Backup and recovery tools
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshooting complex environments and strong scripting capabilities (Bash, Python preferred)
• Good understanding of ITSM tools and service management processes
