Responsibilities
- Participate in daily stand‑up meetings to share progress and discuss with peers.
- Understand user stories and technical requirements assigned to you.
- Define the best strategy to translate these requirements into well‑organized source code.
- Write code and associated unit tests to meet the goals.
- Provide software builds to testers and collaborate to ensure all requirements are fully met.
- Prepare and organize demonstrations of your work for stakeholders such as product owners and technical leaders.
- Interact with support teams to help answer customer requests when expertise is needed.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of projects and enhancements.
- Work with integration application support teams to address issues in test or production environments.
- Suggest technical improvements to squad product owners and technical leaders.
- Support continuous improvement processes and propose your own measures.
- Ensure the continuous integration (CI) pipeline is always running and building correctly for the components you manage.
- Actively support and participate in implementing Agile, DevOps, and continuous integration practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Engineer or university degree in software engineering or information technology.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development.
- Expertise in Java, Swift, and C#, with a willingness to learn new programming languages.
- Knowledge of Android and iOS development environments: Android Studio and Xcode.
- Experience with scripting (bash and Python) to write scripts that ease day‑to‑day tasks.
- Ability to deliver high‑quality software components using unit tests and test‑driven development.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum processes.
- Knowledge in electronic payment processing.
- Proficiency in English and French, both oral and written.
