EB TELCLOUD SERVICES specializes in developing and integrating Online Charging Systems (OCS) for telecom operators, enabling advanced 4G/5G monetization solutions. The company focuses on designing tariff models, testing frameworks, and cloud-native deployments to ensure reliable service delivery across global networks. With expertise in Diameter, SS7, and 3GPP standards, EB TELCLOUD SERVICES supports operators in optimizing revenue streams through scalable and high-performance charging infrastructure.
Job Summary
Join a team shaping the future of telecom charging systems where your expertise directly impacts next-gen 4G/5G monetization. You’ll design, integrate, and rigorously test Online Charging Systems (OCS) like Nokia’s NCC, crafting tariff models and test plans that ensure seamless service delivery for millions of users. With 4-6 years of hands‑on OCS experience—including deep knowledge of Diameter, SS7, and 3GPP standards—you’ll troubleshoot complex call flows, orchestrate VNF/CNF deployments, and collaborate across global teams to resolve high‑stakes issues. Ideal candidates thrive on technical precision, cloud‑native environments (Kubernetes, OpenShift), and scripting (Python, Shell), while balancing clear communication with stakeholders. Expect a role where your work bridges cutting‑edge telecom innovation and real‑world network performance, driving efficiency and revenue growth in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate complex Online Charging System (OCS) solutions, with a focus on Nokia Charging Controller (NCC) or equivalent third‑party systems (e.g., Ericsson, Amdocs, Huawei).
- Author, test, and deliver high‑quality Method of Procedures (MOPs) and functional test plans for 4G/5G charging systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Create and validate tariff designs and product catalogues for Prepaid/Postpaid services within OCS environments, ensuring accurate billing and charging logic.
- Perform end‑to‑end testing of charging systems, including debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues in call flows and core network protocols.
- Onboard and orchestrate Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) and Containerized Network Functions (CNFs) in cloud‑native environments, ensuring seamless integration with existing OCS infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deploy and integrate NCC applications in complex customer networks, adhering to deployment best practices and automation frameworks.
- Develop and maintain scripting solutions in Python, Shell, or Perl to automate testing, deployment, and integration processes within OCS ecosystems.
- Leverage DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies to streamline development, testing, and deployment workflows for charging system enhancements.
- Document technical specifications, test results, and procedural guidelines to support internal teams and customer‑facing communications in English.
- Analyze and resolve technical challenges across teams, applying strong analytical skills to diagnose and implement solutions for OCS‑related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Communications, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of hands‑on experience with Nokia Charging Controller (NCC) or another major third‑party OCS (e.g., Ericsson, Amdocs, Huawei).
- In‑depth understanding of the OSS/Telecom domain, including call flows and core network protocols.
- Proven experience in tariff design and product catalogue creation for Prepaid/Postpaid services within an OCS.
- Strong background in 4G/5G charging testing or development, with excellent debugging and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to independently author, test, and deliver high‑quality, complex Method of Procedures (MOPs) and functional test plans.
- Experience with VNF/CNF onboarding and orchestration.
- Proficiency in creating high‑quality tariff designs, test plans, and test cases.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with experience reporting to internal teams and customers.
- Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.
- Strong analytical skills and a collaborative approach to troubleshooting issues across teams.
- Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, and cloud technologies (NFVI like OpenStack, VMware Tanzu).
- Strong knowledge of Diameter/HTTP2 protocols and interfaces (e.g., Ro, Gx, Gy/Sy, N40, N28).
- Working knowledge of SS7/SIGTRAN, INAP, CAPv2/v3, and 3GPP standards. Experience with Vodafone‑specific variants (e.g., DCCA v2) is a strong plus.
- Experience deploying and integrating NCC applications in complex customer networks.
- Knowledge of industry automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Artifactory, Chef, AWS Templates).
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile practices.
- Scripting skills in Python, Shell, or Perl.
