Within the Propulsion Industrial & Quality Business Support Team (“PIPX”), the candidate will support the central PIP team covering transversal industrial and quality topics, transformation projects, and performance management.
Responsibilities
- The jobholder reports operationally and functionally to the Head of the team.
- Supports the team by driving global business performance and mid‑term priorities, representing the team in various forums, and driving and structuring improvements in activities, processes, and tools.
- Replaces the Head of the team to represent the team whenever required in regular or ad‑hoc forums. Captures the main actions, monitors them through to closure, and manages communication with internal stakeholders.
- Accountable for improving the performance of the team’s global operating system. Defines/clarifies processes, roles, and tools. Defines and organizes workshops for the team or with other functions to address specific issues. Directly participates in the team dynamic and runs the team organization and people review with the Ho PIPX. Brings experience/expertise to support team members by guiding and coaching them as required. Pushes the team to step back and defines improvement actions.
- Provides operational support in case of resource challenges.
- Manages subcontracted activities.
- Manages the team budget, identifies needs and opportunities, and supports the AOP (Annual Operating Plan).
- Anticipates risks that may impact the team’s activities and priorities. Suggests changes and adaptations to be made.
- In collaboration with the Ho PIPX, responsible for prioritizing/arbitrating tasks, identifying internal bottlenecks, and ensuring solutions are defined.
- Directly participates in the team strategy, People Risk and Opportunities, succession planning, the People Development plan, and customer/stakeholder satisfaction.
- Pays constant attention to the well‑being of the team and leverages responsibilities and connections across the entire Propulsion commodity to address concerns and maintain a high level of well‑being and engagement.
Qualifications
- Experience in the aerospace industry with a solid understanding of the Propulsion environment.
- Good understanding of Supply Chain and Quality.
- Strong project management skills.
