Deputy Operational Manager

Overview

• Assist the Operational Manager in overseeing operational activities
• Provide operational technical support to MOCs, RSCs, and units
• Assign and conduct internal audits of entities
• Ensure quality control of MOCs and SSQMs within the MO's zone
• Analyze internal and external complaints and claims

Requirements

• Degree as a Merchant Navy Officer, Naval Architecture/Systems Engineer, or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the maritime industry
• On-site experience as a surveyor highly valued
• In-depth knowledge of statutory regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, etc.)
• Fluent English (written and spoken) essential for interaction with international teams and clients
• Proficiency in office tools and information systems
