How will you shape our tomorrow?

As a Deployment Manager, you will be a key driver of Sonepar’s digital transformation journey, helping Operating Companies (OpCos) successfully adopt Spark solutions and realize tangible business value. Working in a multicultural and agile environment, you will collaborate closely with OpCo leadership teams, Spark product streams, and strategic partners to deliver transformation programs that reshape the way we operate.You will lead the deployment and adoption of both Customer Experience (CX) and Associate Experience (AX) product portfolios, ensuring alignment between business objectives, project execution, and change adoption. From project initiation through post‑go‑live stabilization, you will orchestrate all transformation activities, synchronize cross‑functional teams, and ensure a smooth and successful implementation.As the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for OpCos, you will guide leadership teams through every stage of the transformation journey, helping them navigate change, mitigate risks, and achieve sustainable outcomes.

Main responsibilities:

Assess and prepare OpCos for transformation

  • Evaluate business readiness during the onboarding of new OpCos.
  • Collaborate with local teams to define and execute action plans that establish the foundations required for Spark deployment.
  • Lead activities during the Exploration phase to ensure organizational preparedness.

Define and execute transformation roadmaps

  • Facilitate the Discovery phase and support OpCos in defining transformation objectives, priorities, and success criteria.
  • Build and drive both high‑level and detailed action plans aligned with business goals and program milestones.
  • Set up project governance structures and steering committees.
  • Facilitate decision‑making processes and ensure clear accountability across stakeholders.

Coordinate cross‑functional workstreams

  • Synchronize activities across Product, Integration, Data, Change Management, Training, and other delivery streams.
  • Ensure all teams are aligned, dependencies are managed, and deliverables are completed with the expected quality and timeline.
  • Proactively identify, assess, monitor, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the transformation lifecycle.
  • Escalate critical topics when required and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.

Lead stakeholder communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for OpCos regarding Spark products and adoption activities.
  • Provide clear and regular updates on progress, achievements, risks, and key decisions.
  • Build trusted relationships with business leaders, project teams, and partners.

Ensure successful post‑go‑live transition

  • Prepare and execute the handover to operational support teams.
  • Ensure post‑deployment processes, governance, and KPIs are established and monitored to drive continuous improvement.

Manage dependencies across the organization

  • Align with programs and teams outside Spark that may impact deployment plans and roadmaps, including ERP and other strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure effective coordination across the broader Sonepar ecosystem.

What success looks like

Success in this role means enabling OpCos to transform effectively while minimizing risks and maximizing business value. You will ensure that transformation initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and according to the Spark transformation methodology, while fostering strong stakeholder engagement and adoption.

You are a proactive leader who can bring together diverse teams, drive decision‑making, and turn complex transformation challenges into measurable results.

The experience you bring

  • +5 years of experience in implementing Transformation
  • You have strong leadership skills
  • You have worked in some form of customer facing role and you can influence both business and IT stakeholders, as well as work with a partner in a one team spirit
  • You have multicultural experience
  • Relevant work experience in roles related to digital transformation, project management, or business strategy is essential. This experience should ideally include successful digital transformation projects.
  • Experience in agile methodology (preferred)
  • Fluent English and French

Work Mode & Location

Hybrid: 3 days in Paris (8ème) after the probation period.
