In Brunello Cucinelli the Department Manager covers a key function in providing support to the Business. Responsibilities include helping run the concession, being a guide to the team and acting as a reference point for customers.
Responsibilities
- Cultivating a relationship with customers through an active and continuous presence on the shop floor and by providing a unique service and shopping experience in line with the brand philosophy, the corporate image, and communication and CRM guidelines.
- Communicating clearly, correctly and courteously with both clients and colleagues, whilst also actively listening and paying attention in order to establish mutual trust.
- Promoting the achievement of assigned targets, guiding sales operations and ensuring that both customer service and the selling ceremony are compliant with company guidelines, with the aim of providing all customers with a special experience.
- Supporting the Store Management and the HQ in organizing events and trunk shows in order to introduce new customers to the Brunello Cucinelli world.
- Ensuring that high standards are maintained through a correct implementation of the Visual Guidelines.
- Enriching the presence through a careful interpretation of the Brunello Cucinelli style, ensuring a continuous update on products and new collections for the team.
- Guiding the team in maximizing sales and performance and reporting any missed opportunities to management, allowing potential corrective actions to be implemented.
- Motivating the Sales team in carrying out daily activities with a sense of responsibility.
- Ensuring each team member receives constant feedback to guarantee continuous improvement.
- Supporting the stock team, especially during inventories, when required.
- Cultivating direct contact with the headquarters.
- Using the main IT applications and systems, constantly updating any new tools made available by the company, with particular reference to the Xstore management system and the Salesforce CRM system.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in luxury retail and proven management experience.
- Strong business acumen and solid understanding of market and customers, together with people management and development skills.
- Knowledge of French and English is mandatory; fluency in a third language is a plus.
- Ability to demonstrate business acumen and people management skills.
Selection Process
The selection process involves an initial telephone conversation with a member of the People & Culture team, followed by an interview with the line manager. Further steps will be shared progressively.
