Demand Supply Planner

About the role

As Demand & Supply Planner, you play a central role in driving the group-wide S&OP process for a fast-growing luxury fragrance Group. Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, you are responsible for the consolidated demand forecast and are the guarantor of its reliability. You challenge business assumptions, align cross-functional teams around a unified plan, and deliver clear, actionable visibility into demand.

This role sits at the heart of the S&OP cycle and interfaces closely with Sales, Marketing & NPD, Finance, and Operations – but does not include supplier management or production planning.

Key Responsibilities:

&SOP Management

Drive and structure the monthly S&OP cycle

Highlight risks, opportunities, and trade-offs

Ensure alignment around a consolidated forecast

Prepare and facilitate key meetings (Demand, Supply, Executive)

Forecasts Building

Consolidate, challenge, and validate forecasts

Act as a business partner to Sales and Marketing & NPD teams

Leverage data to improve forecast accuracy

Monitor forecast performance (accuracy & bias)

Provide visibility for financial steering

Propose scenarios in case of supply constraints

Requirements Translation (DRP)

Bridge the demand plan with short-term operational realities, with ad hoc support on execution topics when needed

Translate the forecast into net requirements via SAP By

Design

Ensure consistency across demand, inventory, and replenishment

Guarantee the reliability of the plan transmitted to the Production team

Manage DRP parameters and logic

Data & Planning Foundations

Maintain a reliable data environment (single source of truth)

Identify discrepancies and drive corrections

Develop planning tools and models (Excel, etc.)
