Delivery Manager
Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Delivery Manager to drive operations and ensure the seamless establishment of the office in Paris. The individual will play a critical role in managing projects, hiring new talent, and serving as the key facilitator for teams working out of this new location. The Delivery Manager will be responsible for overseeing the launch and day-to-day management of projects from various locations. They will collaborate closely with various teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure timely project delivery, effective onboarding of new hires, and operational support. They will also act as a key point of contact for any local issues or challenges faced by the team and facilitate the smooth functioning of the office.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
- Coordinate with global teams to ensure projects meet business goals and client expectations.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans as needed. Facilitate regular status meetings, maintain project documentation, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Partner with HR and leadership to hire top talent.
- Build and mentor a strong team, ensuring alignment with company values and performance standards.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment that encourages innovation, growth, and teamwork.
- Act as the go-to person for any operational or setup issues within the office and work closely with HR, IT, and facilities teams to resolve them quickly.
- Act as a liaison between the global teams to ensure alignment on project objectives, timelines, and priorities.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on the status of office setup, team performance, and project progress.
- Possess a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges in an evolving business environment.
- Identify and capitalize on new opportunities for growth and improvement within the organization.
- Continuously improve processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity within the office.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in project management, with at least 6-7 years in a senior leadership role.
- Prior experience in Retail CPG and e-Commerce business.
- Good exposure to managing a team of approximately 60 to 70 resources.
- Ability to handle a portfolio of approximately $10 to $15 million.
- Strong background in project delivery, team building, and operational management, ideally with experience in setting up and running new office locations.
- Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams, manage multiple stakeholders, and lead.
