Debt Finance Internship: Live Deals & Modeling

Established in 1946, Mediobanca is a leading European investment bank with longstanding advisory tradition focused on large European corporates. The teams are working on a number of high-profile international transactions, which would enable the candidate to gain significant deal exposure. Mediobanca has announced a strategic partnership with Messier & Associés in April 2019, reaffirming its presence and ambition in the French market.

Position

The intern will be involved on a wide range of financing opportunities, including corporate lending, leveraged finance and infrastructure lending opportunities.

Main tasks

• Public and private deal executions
• Assist with the preparation of pitches and market updates
• Participate in the preparation of financial models, credit papers and review debt documentation
• Play a critical role within day-to-day origination efforts and execution of visible transactions

Requisiti

• We are looking for highly motivated candidate, entrepreneurial and eager to gain exposure to senior bankers and clients on live transactions.
• The candidate should have very good analytical skills, strong oral and written communication, and attention to detail.
• A previous experience in investment banking / private equity / audit is desirable, but we will also consider candidates with other relevant experiences as we favour potential to knowledge.
• Fluent in English.
• A fluent level in either French or Italian is also required.
