DCS Commissioning Supervisor - NORMAND'HY

OVERVIEW

As part of a major energy transition project currently entering the commissioning phase, we are looking for a DCS Commissioning Expert to join the site team and support commissioning activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the commissioning team to ensure the proper operation of the Distributed Control System (DCS), as well as the compliance of control logics and operational strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform a critical review of the existing DCS architecture and configuration.
• Support site teams in the execution of DCS-related commissioning activities.
• Conduct and supervise control logic verification (Logic Checks).
• Participate in functional testing of equipment and systems.
• Carry out Loop Checks and monitor the resolution of identified issues.
• Verify consistency between engineering documentation and on-site implementation.
• Analyze technical deviations and propose improvements when required.
• Challenge existing design choices to optimize system performance, reliability, and operability.
• Provide regular reporting to the project and commissioning teams.

REQUIRED PROFILE

• Degree in Automation, Instrumentation, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
• Significant experience in industrial commissioning and DCS systems.
• Experience on complex industrial projects within the energy, chemical, petrochemical, hydrogen, oil & gas, or process industries sectors.
• Strong knowledge of DCS systems and control system architectures.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
