We've partnered with a fast-growing GPU‑as‑a‑Service provider that is building some of Europe's most advanced AI and high‑performance computing infrastructure.
As they continue to scale, they're looking for a French Speaking Datacentre Operations Engineering Lead to take ownership of a flagship AI datacentre in Paris. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who thrives in high‑performance environments and wants to work at the cutting edge of AI, GPU, and HPC infrastructure.
The Opportunity
You’ll be the senior technical authority on‑site, leading a team of engineers while ensuring the reliable operation of next‑generation AI infrastructure.
From commissioning and operational readiness through to ongoing service delivery, you’ll drive standards, improve processes, lead incident response, and build a culture of operational excellence.
This role offers genuine ownership, exposure to industry‑leading NVIDIA technologies, and the opportunity to help shape future datacentre deployments across Europe.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading day‑to‑day datacentre operations and engineering activities
- Managing and mentoring a team of Datacentre Operations Engineers
- Driving operational excellence, uptime, and SLA performance
- Supporting the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high‑density GPU infrastructure
- Overseeing liquid cooling systems, power distribution, and critical datacentre technologies
- Managing incidents, root cause analysis, and service improvements
- Developing operational procedures, documentation, and best practices
- Working closely with Infrastructure, Network Engineering, and SRE teams
- Managing hardware lifecycle activities, vendor relationships, and RMA processes
- Supporting capacity planning across power, cooling, and space
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years' experience in datacentre operations, HPC, AI infrastructure, or related environments
- Previous experience in a senior or lead engineering role
- Strong knowledge of GPU‑based infrastructure, enterprise hardware, storage, and networking
- Experience working within mission‑critical datacentre environments
- Hands‑on troubleshooting, break/fix, and hardware deployment experience
- Knowledge of liquid cooling technologies and high‑density compute environments
- Strong understanding of operational processes, incident management, and service delivery
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English
- A passion for technology, operational excellence, and team leadership
