Datacentre Operations Engineer

Join One of Europe's Largest AI Infrastructure Deployments. We're hiring multiple Datacentre Operations Engineers to support the launch and operation of one of Europe's most significant AI infrastructure projects. Based at a state‑of‑the‑art datacentre in South Paris you'll work on the deployment and ongoing operation of an over 7500 GPU NVIDIA Grace Blackwell cluster, powering next‑generation Artificial Intelligence (AI) and High Performance Computing (HPC) workloads. This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of AI infrastructure, supporting cutting‑edge technology within a mission‑critical production environment and helping shape one of Europe's largest GPU deployments.

As a Datacentre Operations Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, availability and performance of a large‑scale AI platform. Working alongside experienced infrastructure, networking and HPC engineering teams, you'll support the commissioning of the site before moving into day‑to‑day operations, maintenance and continuous improvement.

This is a hands‑on role suited to engineers who enjoy solving technical challenges and working in fast‑paced, high‑availability environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the day‑to‑day operation of a mission‑critical AI datacentre
• Assist with site commissioning and operational readiness activities
• Install, configure and maintain server, storage and network hardware
• Monitor infrastructure health and respond to operational incidents
• Perform hardware diagnostics, repairs and component replacements
• Support incident response and service restoration activities
• Work alongside vendors during installations, maintenance and technical escalations
• Follow operational procedures while contributing to continuous improvements
• Maintain accurate technical documentation
• Support infrastructure growth, capacity planning and expansion projects

Qualifications

English language skills required. French language skills are advantageous.

Existing right to work within the EU.

Ability to work onsite in Paris.

Willingness to work within a 24x7 shift rota, including potential on‑call participation.

Requirements

• Experience working within a datacentre or mission‑critical infrastructure environment
• Hands‑on server hardware installation, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure in production environments
• Strong fault‑finding and hardware diagnostics skills
• Understanding of datacentre operational processes and best practices
• Experience working within SLA‑driven environments
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
