Datacenter Operations Lead - Hyperscale Site (Île-de-France)

The opportunity

We're looking for a Datacenter Operations Lead to take charge of day-to-day operations at a hyperscale datacenter facility (10-30 MW) in Île-de-France, on behalf of one of the world's leading datacenter operators.

This is a high-impact role: you'll lead an on-site team, coordinate external service providers, and be the go-to person for electrical infrastructure, cooling systems, and incident management on a facility that runs 24/7 with zero tolerance for downtime.

What you'll actually do

Run the operations

• Manage and coordinate an internal operations team alongside multiple external service providers
• Oversee maintenance and improvement works across electrical (HV/LV), cooling, ventilation, and fire safety systems
• Lead the technical management of major incidents, escalating to specialist experts when needed

Plan and prevent

• Anticipate infrastructure issues and plan corrective actions before they become incidents
• Build and maintain the annual preventive maintenance schedule
• Review and improve operational procedures (MOPs)

Communicate and report

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for the client on maintenance operations, outage windows, and corrective actions
• Produce operational KPIs and service continuity indicators
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and present recommendations to stakeholders

  What we're looking for

  Must-haves:

  • At least 5 years of experience in datacenter or critical facility operations
  • Strong technical expertise in electrical systems (HV/LV), HVAC, and fire safety
  • Proven experience managing a team and coordinating third‑party providers
  • Good working proficiency in both English and French - this is non‑negotiable, both languages are used daily
  • Hands‑on knowledge of CMMS, AutoCAD, and MS Project (or equivalent)
